Karythia Cottage, a beautiful stone-built residence, is
150 years old and situated in the village of Pano Arodes near Paphos .
It has a large and impressive courtyard full of trees including a massive walnut
tree which is possibly as old as the house itself.
Karythia Cottage is cosy and warm in the winter
and cool and fresh in the summer. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of lying around the
swimming pool or under the walnut and pomegranate trees in the courtyard.
The house is ideally located for those who wish to
explore the region, the unspoiled Akamas peninsula and the nature
trails. This is the area where the Careta turtles lay their eggs, a
species carefully protected by Greenpeace, so we don't really want you to go there without guidance as the turtles do not appreciate visitors.
You can discover the Akamas gorge, cycle, hike, or swim on the nearby beaches that are only
10 km away. For hiking, cycling, climbing and other
adventure activities see here
